Elena Dikova

Elena Dikova was born in Sofia in a family with long tradition in music art.

Graduated the National Secondary School of Music, Sofia, and the National Academy of Music “Pancho Vladigerov”, class of Prof. Anton Dikov.

1993-1995 she got a master class with Prof. Anton Dikov. During the same period she attended the courses of Prof. Jay Gotlib and Prof. Olivier Gardon in France.

1997 –A public course in interpreting lead by Prof. Dominique Merlet in the town of Flaine, France.

She is a full time Pano Professor at the piano department of the Academy of Music “Pancho Vladigerov” and a piano teacher at the National School of Music “Lubomir Pipkov”

Elena’s repertoire includes compositions within almost all classical music styles including recitals and chamber music concerts with different famous Bulgarian musicians.

She performed as soloist with the Sofia State Philharmonic Orchestra, Bulgarian National Radio Orchestra, Chamber Ensemble Sofia Solists and Philharmonic Orchestras in different other towns

Elena Dikova actively performs not only in Bulgaria, but in France, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Macedonia too.

Elena has numerous recorded performances for the Bulgarian National Radio

E. Dikova has also realized professional successes as piano Professor. Some of her students won awards from prestigious international competitions. Lots of them participate at master classes, festivals, chamber and symphonic concerts in Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Austria, Germany, USA, Mexico, South Korea and many other countries

She has directed numerous master classes in Macedonia.

Diploma - “High pedagogical achievements” – 2nd national competition for piano “Schumann – Brahms”, Plovdiv, 2005.

Member of jury on the International Piano Competition in Pristine, Kossovo, 2007.
